In 2004, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Grand Valley State University.  The focus of my artwork has always revolved around wearable art made with metal.

Most recently my concentrations have been on fabricating distinctive jewelry ranging from pieces acceptable for everyday wear to more unique, sculptural pieces reserved for special occasions.  I sell my work at art fairs and a number of Michigan galleries.  In 2010, I was honored to have the opportunity to create the Maven Award for the Urban Institute of Contemporary Arts.

In addition to my studio work, I have taught in the jewelry department at Kendall College of Art and Design and 3-D Design at Grand Valley State University.  Having the ability to share a subject that I am so passionate about has proven to be very rewarding.
