The council serves as a catalyst to develop,
enhance, advance and sustain
the cultural life of the

Huron Valley Area
in Southeast Michigan
and to be a uniting voice for the arts

in the public and private

sectors of the community.

We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about the arts. We can be reached at 248-889-8660 or HVCA@comcast.net.

Thinking about volunteering

in the Highland-Milford area?

The Huron Valley Council for the Arts is a beautiful environment in which to enjoy art, meet new friends, and contribute of your time and talents to a growing culturally-rich organization in our community.

For example, you could:
• Serve as host or hostess in the gallery, welcoming and assisting visitors with information about the exhibits and the Council’s programs
• Assist artists in their HVCA Art Shop with operations and customer service
• Participate in the preparations and presentations of a variety of artistic and cultural events and programs given by HVCA
• Help HVCA staff, volunteers and committees with a variety of interesting hands-on “behind the scenes” projects in group and individual assignments

Call Ethyl Rivera (248-698-1446) or come by the Highland Station House on Livingston Road in Highland and find out more about the art-filled volunteer opportunities available.
