I've made quilts for 35 years and am still delighted by the endless ways a great variety of fabrics can be combined into a beautiful and useful quilt - art that can keep you warm. I enjoy the serendipity in quilt making. I start out with an idea, assemble a pile of fabrics, start cutting and sewing and watch to see if good things happen. They usually do.
I enjoy making both bed sized and wall quilts. I use a free cut piecing technique that I've been refining over the past twelve years. I feel I've found my artistic voice in this technique. I make and sell reversible, pieced silk jackets and loads of handbags and totes. I also love to knit and hook rugs.
